The ministry of INTERNATIONAL
STEWARD was initiated six years ago. Over these six years, and
an ever-increasing intensity of ministry until its official organization
birth in April 2000, this ministry of stewardship and fund development
has made a demonstrable impact.
One of the early by-products of the four pilot projects has been a
proliferation of requests to begin the work in many other settings.
For instance, we currently have an invitation to initiate the program
in all the seminaries of Asia, for the Anglican bishops of Eastern
and Southern Africa, for ministry leaders in Nepal, and for several
mission agencies who desire their national leaders trained in Biblical
stewardship and fund development.
INTERNATIONAL STEWARD has also been asked to train board members of
agencies and lay leaders whose ministries are concentrated in developing
countries. |
